Suyin Corporation was established in 1981 with a capital of less than $1million US dollars. It began with a factory measuring only 1,440 square feet and had only 5 employees producing 3.96mm and 2.54mm pitch connectors for Desktop Computers and Switching Power Supplies.

In 1984, teams of innovative design engineers were formed to extend Suyins ability to create unique products which expanded our product line into a variety of market segments, from computer workstations to networking equipment and mulit-media systems as well as mobile communication equipment.

By early 1990s, Suyin had a vision in the notebook market, we started to penetrate the notebook market with low cost connector terminal blocks. Because of our great vision and constant commitment to quiality and manufacturing excellence, we successfuly entered the market and became one of the fastest growing companies in the industry. Later in 1997, the demand for our quality products was increasing daily. In order to continue our production of high quality, competitive and precision end products for our customers, we began the process of opening our second and third plants in China. Suyins factory area is now more than 9.1 acres with more than 3000 employees. Our facilities are equiped with the best, state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, and we have educated our employees to be the most highly skilled production personnel in the business.

Today we coninue to expand our plants, with innovative equipment and personnel, because we believe that Suyin is the frontier of the connector industry.
